The client needed to adapt a new office space to meet the organisation’s operational requirements. The proposed layout needed to accommodate additional office areas, a reception space and restroom facilities while creating a professional working environment.
The project also required a clear plan before construction began, so that the scope, proposed layout, and cost could be reviewed before the client committed to the works.
We approached the project through a structured process.
1. Requirements and space planning
We reviewed the client’s needs and considered how the existing space could accommodate the required facilities.
2. Architectural design
Several design options were considered. The preferred option was selected and refined through minor adjustments before proceeding.
3. Cost estimation and approval
After the design was finalised, a cost estimate was prepared within three working days. The client reviewed the proposal before approving the project.
4. Construction and coordination
Construction proceeded based on the approved design and project requirements, providing a defined reference for the work to be carried out.
5. Finishing and completion
The works focused on creating the required office areas, reception and restroom facilities, with attention to the completed space’s appearance and functionality.
The original programme allowed seven weeks for completion. The project was completed in five weeks, two weeks earlier than originally scheduled.
